Sahara African Aviation booked a workshop with Cairn Aviation at their Kruger International offices in June 2019. Our Application Support Analyst, Mike Thomson, visited Sahara for three days to analyse their processes and provide training to new personnel. During this visit, our focus was on streamlining their training records, moving forms from Dropbox onto Air Maestro and creating better reports based on their roster and timesheets for their financing requirements.

We have been using Air Maestro for over 5 years and have always enjoyed fantastic support from Cairn Aviation.
With new personnel coming onboard in key roles, as well as a push towards a paperless environment, we arranged a 3 day training workshop to review and improve our current processes, onboard functionality and modules we hadn’t previously used and ensure our new hires would learn the foundations of Air Maestro.
Mike had an excellent grasp of what we wanted to achieve and ensured the workshop was very well planned, relevant & the time used comprehensively. He spent quality one-on-one time with key users of Air Maestro, guiding them through the processes and steps to attain the functionality required, and in many cases, provided suggestions that far better suited the outcome we wished to achieve.
Group sessions allowed us to discuss, customize and couple our workflows with the relevant Air Maestro modules, enhancing our paperless environment and improving communication and compliance.
Going forward we’re going to make this workshop an annual event, such was the benefit and value for money.
